How to change the outbound caller ID of an extension

Each 3CX extension can have its own unique external DID number. This is so staff can be reached directly without having to go through the standard call flows.


Step:

  1. Login to your 3CX Phone System Management Console and enter the required information.

 

  1. On 3CX Phone System Management Console. 
  1. Click Extensions.

  1. Select Extension. 
  2. Click Edit. 

 

 

  1. Click General Tab.
  2. In User Information Group, Enter Outbound Caller ID. (This will replace the Original Caller ID for your Extension).
  3. Click OK to apply changes.

  1. Logout from 3CX Phone System Management Console.
